1. General idea
Rome2 League of Champions is invitational round-robin tournament.
The goal is to create friendly environment for active players who wants to play round-robin type of tournaments. Since single inactive player can ruin round-robin tournament administration will limit number of participants and tournament is invitational.
Participant who was inactive will be removed from tournament and banned from all future seasons.
To prevent "point-gifting" to clan mates only one member from each clan is allowed to participate.
2. Format
Round-robin tournament.
Every participant MUST play 2 battles against every other participant.
If participant does not finish all his matches against EVERY other participant and this affects standings then he will be removed and all his points are not going to count.

3. Factions and point calculation
All factions devided into 4 pools
#1 Tylis, Boii, Nervii, Arverns, Getae, Rome
#2 Parthia, Armenia, Massilia, Ardiae, Pontus, Sparta, Carthage, Galatia
#3 Athens, Syracuse, Epirus, Macedonia, Colchis, Arevaci, Odrysian, Iceni, Lusitani
#4 Pergamon, Egypt, Bactria, Seleucids
Player can use each faction only once until he has used all factions from the faction pool. After that all faction pools reset and all factions are available again.
Point calculation.
if player_faction_group# > opponent_faction_group#
4 + ( opponent_faction_group# - player_faction_group# )
else
1 + (3 - opponent_faction_group# + player_faction_group#)
Examples:
Pergamon wins Boii 4 + |4 - 1| = 7
Athens wins Boii 4 + |3 - 1| = 6
Parthia wins Boii 4 + |2 - 1| = 5
Boii wins Boii 1 + |3 - 1 + 1| = 4
Boii wins Parthia 1 + |3 - 2 + 1| = 3
Boii wins Athens 1 + |3 - 3 + 1| = 2
Boii wins Pergamon 1 + |3 - 4 + 1| = 1
3. Battle faction and map selection
Map pool: Nemetocenna
Player lower in the bracket/standings is attacker and the one who selects map and attack direction. After map is selected defender picks a faction and then attacker counter-picks his faction. Both faction and map are picked from pool of available factions/maps of player making a pick. 2nd player becomes attacker in the next battle.
Counter-picking of mirror faction is prohibited unless player has no other factions left.
4. Battle rules

5.Disconnects
If the disconnect happened at the beginning of the battle and there is no decisive advantage, the battle is re-played with same rosters. If both players agree, they can change rosters.
If the disconnect happened when the decisive advantage is present and both players agree on it, there is no need to re-play the battle. Otherwise, players have to provide screenshots and replays to administrators.
